Webinars with students of the University of Lodz, April/May, 2021, Online

At the end of April-May Greennovention in cooperation with Leda Polymer presented the BioMotive project to students of Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at University of Lodz. Due to pandemic restriction Greennovention held a series of webinars which covered the topics of Horizon 2020 and upcoming Horizon Europe, with special attention to Biomotive contribution to goals of the green economy. Not only it It gather over 200 students and lecturers, also from international programme Erasmus.
It also allowed to increased interest of local academics and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.

On June 21-22 Biomotive participated in International Conference on Biopolymers and Bioplastics in Rome, Italy. It will bring together international experts, scientists, research institutes and academicians to share recent advances in the ield of biopolymers and bioplastics. Biomotive helded a presentation during two day sessions.

National Information Day Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU), March 4, 2020 Wroclaw, Poland

On 4th of March at Wroclaw Technology Park Biomotive attended BBI JU National Info Day, conference held with support of RPK Wrocław, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. Main subject of the conferences was opportunities for jobs, growth and investment: developing the bioeconomy and the bio-based industries sector in Poland.

Among all the attenders there were present BBI JU Representatives, Ministers and government representatives, employers organizations as well as stakeholders interested in EU founded bio-based industry projects. In the afternoon session, when case studies were presented, PhD Bartosz Ziółkowski from Selena introduced our project to the audience. Collaboration of all Consortium Partners lead to success, we could proudly share during the meeting. At this point many of project crucial milestones were achieved – the best example was to show samples of ready polyurethane 2K foams and new production line for biobased polyurethanes.

Biomotive was also a great boost up for many of Consortium partners. Participation in the project allow to engage new partnerships and extend business possibilities. Project brings new technologies, know-how and link between academic and business sectors.

We look forward to next KPK and RPK meetings!


III Stakeholder Meeting, January 28, 2020 Warsaw, Poland

BIOMOTIVE project has a dedicated Stakeholders Group which its members meet and discuss the project results, bio-based materials development within the automotive sector and relevant thematic discussions around the topic. Consortium Partner the UITP is managing the BIOMOTIVE Stakeholder Group from the beginning of the project.

Stakeholder Group joints companies from automotive and bioplastic sector as well as independent experts.

The group meets on a regular basis and in total five meetings by the end of the project are planned focusing on different topics. Previous meeting took place in Brusseles (June 2018) and Stockholm (June 2019), the 3rd meeting was hosted by PIMOT on 28 January 2020 in Warsaw.  The focus of this meeting was standardization and certification of bio-based products. The BIOMOTIVE project’s results on this topic will be shared, round table discussions between experts will take place.

On 9 April 2019 and 28 November 2019 within the training project “School@Novamont”, Biomotive was presented among the European projects that promotes bio-based industry and products. The aim was to explain a new consumption and behavior models inspired by the bioeconomy and to make known the innovative materials from renewable sources. 400 Italian students have participated to the training session in Novara.
